Lira Clinical | B2B/D2C Global Skincare Brand


Lira Clinical, a $50M global D2C/B2B skincare company, wanted to migrate from Magento 2 to Shopify Plus. They required team training to smooth the transition, a unified platform that accommodates both buyer types, an enhanced backend workflow, including shipping, fulfillment, inventory management, and automated consumer marketing; sales rep commission tracking, and an integrated ERP.  Finally, Lira’sonline D2C shopping experience had to be comparable to the personalized, aesthetician-driven, in-store experience.


THE CHALLENGE

Lira’s leaders do not possess pro-level tech skills, and they recently eliminated their in-house tech department. The solution needed to be user-friendly and intuitive. They were also experiencing decreased sales within their skin solution lines/regimens. The products were usually sold to the public by in-person, licensed aestheticians. Each line is geared to a specific skin type, which must be identified pre-purchase. They are comprised of at least six products, and each product has specific instructions that include night/day and uses per week. We were tasked with architecting and implementing a process that captured and maintained the D2C customer while preventing inaccuracy and high returns, and catering to a robust B2B clientele.
