Create Pharmacy, an Alberta, Canada-based pharmaceutical compounding specialist, partnered with Technopath to build secure online prescribing platforms for both vet and human medicine. We architected and developed a compliant B2B solution that allows healthcare professionals to prescribe customized compounded medications while adhering to Canadian regulations. The two interconnected Magento 2 platforms feature multi-user account management, prescriber tracking, and seamless integration with Create's fulfillment process. The design is responsive and intuitive, while streamlining the prescribing-to-delivery workflow and enabling the remote creation of personalized compounding formulations.

THE CHALLENGE

Create Pharmacy wanted to expand its brick-and-mortar location, offering vets and doctors the ability to prescribe customized compounded medications online. The digital platform had to be secure and handle complex pharmaceutical compounding workflows while maintaining strict compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements. The solution required sophisticated multi-user account management, prescriber tracking, and seamless integration with existing fulfillment processes—all while being intuitive and easy to use. Additionally, it had to serve two distinct markets (veterinary and human medicine), feature customized differences, and have a flexible architecture to accommodate varying prescribing protocols and compliance standards.
